great place in the middle of it all, but not loud at night like i expected. The pool is heavily chlorinated, and boring. The breakfast is great, and served right by the beach. Will certainly stay again.

convenient traffic, 5 minutes to the pier, close to restaurants and massage outlets. 10-15 minutes to the beach. only 1 swimming pool. moderate room, big bathroom, with porch, but old tv. only 1 receptionist, quite busy, no smile. all staffs I met in hotel are not warm and friendly. room make-up not prompt. regarding the price, just fine, not as value for money as my expectation.

Would not check us in without paper copy of evoucher ( declined to view copy on mobile phone, declined to receive copy via email and declined to get a paper copy first thing after the family was settled in our room). Pool was stronly chlorinated (?) and our kids eyes were irritated after using the pool. Otherwise no happy with hotel. Nice standard and no noise problems. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

This hotel is TERRIBLE. We got robbed on the first night. We had left our money in our code locked safe and left our key in reception when we went out. It was obviously an inside job. The manager even tried to get us to change our story when we rang him from the police station. Pool is too small, not enough sun loungers, there is only 6 for the whole hotel. Breakfast is disgusting, only edible thing is the fruit. Flies are everywhere. Be prepared to get eaten alive by mosquitos in the rooms. The shower was dirty. It is completely overpriced for what you get AND it is the wrong side of the island to stay on. For the nice beach and the good bars and nightlife do not stay on tonsai bay. I ve stayed at this hotel severel times before, but a lot of things has happened i the last couple of years! A new Gym, extra rooms and a new reception, but it s still my favourite on Phi Phi. It s not the cheapest place, but it s worth the money! Free internet at the Gym, but they should have (free!) WiFi all over...

Love Banyan Villa.. location is great and i ve stayed there a number of times. The new gym looked impressive, but I didn t use it ;)

Its garden room is quite old room equippment, and dark room light as well. Receptionist is not very helpful and no orientation at all. Till 11pm at night, and start from 4am in the morning, you will hear big noise from its neighbor diving school, which Reception can t solve it. I was waked during 1st night by that noise. Anyway i don t have very good feeling with Banyan Villa. May choose other hotels next time. Thanks- [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Great location. only a stone-throw distance to the beach and 5 mins walk to the pier. Not a big room and the facilities need to be remodelled. But, in Phi Phi, what you need are a bed, shower and breakfast. The hotel provides everything mentioned above. BTW, you could enjoy 10% discount when you have dinner in Tonsai Seafood.
