Zara Beach Resort, is a small luxury resort with 12 plunge pool villas, a main pool and a spa on the beach on the Northern end of Lamai Beach, Koh Samui.
The resort was designed to inspire a greener life with wild trees, plants and flower gardens while its accommodation would provide ample space and privacy for each guest.
The resort is situated in lush gardens offering a refreshing ambiance. Meanwhile you just have to cross the bridge over the natural river to get to the long stretch of Lamai beach. The resort was designed to provide a complete privacy for its guests from the outside world as well as within its own walls.
While near the beach, the resort is also not far from the town where you can enjoy time with your family or with your friends.

ACCOMMODATION
Each unit comprises of a full lounge room with a L shape sofa and flat screen TV; a bedroom and en-suite bathroom with shower. Each unit features a decoration composed of charming blend of modern styles with local touches.

Zara Beach Resort is located at Lamai Beach on the island of Koh Samui. It is easily accessible from all major airports in Thailand. Transfer time from Ko Samui airport is approximately 25 minutes.
This is our second stay at Zara. We love it and will return. It s close enough to the action but a great retreat. They staff are wonderful and will do anything to make your stay a great one.
There is a great deal Of construction going on at the resort at the moment which is very noisy. The construction site is viewable from most villas. It is not a very pretty site and definitely wasn t expecting it when we arrived which sort of ruined our relaxed moods. Not very much privacy, I opened the window to our pool when I woke up to find one of the workers on our balcony staring back at me. No restaurant because of the construction. Rooms were nice, though not all windows had curtains and you could see directly into the next villa, even from the bathroom. Friendly service though. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
We had the most terrifying experience at Zara. I am pregnant and can you imagine the horror, when the door connecting to the lounge area in the villa- almost fell on me. The door was slightly bigger than the frame and one day when I tried to open the door, the door came out of the hinges. If it were not for my husband, the heavy door would have come down on me!
To add to this traumatic experience, the hotel decided to charge us for damage of property! We have never had an experience like this and would suggest travelers to be wary of such things. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
In general the place is OK regarding price/service however something should improve like:
-Bad smell coming from a river crossing the resort.
- Management stile sometimes not so fair aptitude.
As an actual strenth staff there was so friendly
I have to say we enjoyed the hotel very much,prime central location in Lamai directly on the beach,infinity pool is so nice,service was very prompt & personal the staff was so helpfull & nice - a negative point was breakfast ! - as its still soft openinig the breakfast was served by a third party which - so book without Breakfast and walk around there r plenty of nice places serving goo breakfast down the road ;))
i assume also something is wrong in he construction of the place as there s no phone in rooms,and some lizards can be in u villa unnoticed ;))
One thing you should try is the Caffe Latte on the pool bar - we naed it (NOI - LATTE) after the sweetest bar tender we met NOI,you also should enjoy the local massage place Golden Hands u should ask for Yo,Wa & Kat and enjoy Thai & Oil massage on the beach with ur fav music
