Great accomodation... Great staff, perfect beach... I recommend every one who would really wanna rest.... Its perfect!!!!

Друзья были в Сентаре Гранд - остались безумно довольны. Мы выбрали Виллас Сентара. Местоположение отличное в саду, подальше от тусни. Когда на Чавенге были штормовые волны - мы на своем пляже отлично плавали. Персонал способен что то делать только за чаевые. В противном случае они холодно вежливы. В счете, который нам в конце выставили - были ошибки. Аннулировали лишнее даже не извинившись. В ресторане можно питаться только по вечернему меню (есть еще дневное) или на тематических ужинах. В-общем впечатление положительное. Но Самуи сам по себе - неоправданно дорог для Тайланда. Пхукет и маленькие островки рядом с ним в этом смысле дешевле, вкуснее и интереснее. The layout of the grounds & accomodation was good. Room & facilities were okay though a bit run down. Food could have been better.

This is the place to stay if you want to be in the not too over dveloped part of koh samui. the hotel runs regulr shuttles to the heavy tourist resorts so you can have the best fo both worlds here. the villas are well furnished and equipped although they are tightly packed together. still loads of building work going on but after we complained politely a few times we were upgrade foc from a standard garden villa to a pool villa with a sea view which was a treat, although frankly the pool could have done with a good clean! Having experienced both the top and bottom end of the accomodation available, if i were to stay here again i would not pay the extra for the allegedly higher end villas because they are only marginally better. Do visit the Cool bar along the beach and do eat at the Baracuda. if you want a bit of almost unspoilt samui, get a taxi to take you to the sunset beach for early dinner (it gets dark at 6.15) where there are about 6 little local restaurant all with a spectacular view of the sunset over the bay - the best is probably the beach at the far end. taxi shold cot more than about 200 baht but remember to negotiate first and arrange for them to come back and pick you up later. most of rooms has no sea view. serice is good, food is good.

Beautiful place with wonderful garden and beach. It is so quiet place that all the guests can have a rest in nice place far from disco s and shops.

The hotel ammenities were excellent, the room was spacious, we selected a spa villa, so all was nice and clean and welcoming. What I didn t like about the hotel was that it was very difficult for me to subscribe to the activities in the hotel. Also they don t have 24 hours room service, and we reached the hotel from town late in the evening and my 3 year old asked to eat something and we weren t able to get anything from room service although we called about 5 minutes before they say they close the orders... average, about 70 degree. We book Delux Villa, there is no bathtub, but the web s picture show it has bathtub, I m still confused. there are many many flies when we eat breakfast,step on our food very often. other strong point is that show your room card may use installation in Centara Hotel in Chenweng beach.

Centara is simply fantastic. good service and the staff are just happy to serve you at any time. room service food are great too.

The hotel was fine although it is a little old and some of the furnishings are not what I would expect for the price but to be honest Samui generally is just overpriced. We had a pool villa which was expensive but certainly worth it as it was lovely to have that privacy. Ultimately this is a resort for people who want to really be out of the way because it is half an hour and $20 to chaweng - the main town on the island.
