The Hotel started to run down a few years ago. my recent stay confirmed my greatest anger: A/C is mostly in disorder, not being able to regulate or making bruising and rattling noises, bed and sheets definetly seen better times, didnt get towels for 3 days and if, many of them were not clean. by the end small animals got control over my bed. I moved out 2 days earlier even I paid my dues already. DO NOT GO THERE!

Pretty grim. They d left an oil burner in the room to get rid of the mosquitos but the harsh smell never left the room. Hurt my throat, gave me a headache and I had to get all my clothes washed after I left to get rid of the stink. The hotels response was to tell me to leave my window open and put the air con on. (this had no effect) No remote for the TV and they tried to charge me despite me having paid in advance. The location is handy for a 1 or 2 days stop and it s cheap but it s absolutely awful. Terrible, terrible place. I know that it s cheap, but cheap doesn t have to mean that you have to lie in a dirty room. The shower was so dirty we didn t want to use it. The pillows were brown of other people s sweat (really!). The hotel is middle in the nightlife area so at night a lot of noise (really a lot!). We were lucky our room was at an alley but the rooms on the other side must have been even worse. Around 4 a group came home and found it necessary to scream in the hall and hit every door. Just awfull. The girl at the desk didn t speak a word of English. The reception was in a stinking hot alley. Never again en we would advise anyone to look foor something else!! Pros: Spacious rooms, cheap, very near to the night life, a lot of parking space for the scooter, video surveillance of corridors. Cons: Entry through a tunnel where hot air is blown out of the air conditions, no lift, old furniture, no suitcase stand, bed that is not always comfortable, very loud because of a near disco and the air condition, drier missing, sometimes no water or else low pressure, no small towels, sometimes the second towel missing, no telephone, no separate lights for the bed and the basin mirror, light switches placed unpractical so you have to walk back, no power outlet near the bed, basin without grating and not closable for washing, no shower curtain, door lock insecure, not everything cleaned by the room service, biting ants in the room which were eliminated by spraying poison. Good, clean and close to everything. rooms not that dark for those who like to sleep in.

It was located close to all the dance clubs...good for one night on the island...wish I had been on the island longer though.

Centre Point is the ideal place to stay if you want to be close to the shops restaurants and bars.The staff were very friendly and always helpfull.The rooms though were in need of re-decoration,but if you only stay a few days its not a problem.I would recommend this place and will definatly stay there next time I visit Samui.

A tacky place, hard to find even with an experienced taxi driver. Rooms were old and tattered, we had a view of a really disgusting backlot with nothing but garbage and tin rooftops to look at. It wasn t worth the money. If you re in Chaweng you can find better accommodation for that kind of price.

Nice hotel, great air con and cable tv. In the middle of Chewang which may or may not be a problem. It is only two blocks from the main nightlife which means on one side oif the hotel you are up till morning- like it or not. On the other side of the hotel it is much quieter so try and book away from the noise! Friendly staff. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]

Hotel-style accomodations (not bungalows like much of the accomodations in Koh Samui). Right in the center of town and across the street from the beach. Helpful staff, but very basic room that was a bit musty and felt like nobody had stepped foot in the room in years. Good for a one or two night stay for someone looking to be in the middle of Chawen Town, but I m sure there are better places in Chaweng for a longer stay. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]
