Our second floor superior room was large, a little tired but clean and comfortable. No problems. Restaurant food and service was very good. About 20 mins walk to town centre but only 40 baht on a tuk-tuk.

Our stay at the Wang Tai was uneventful. It looks, however, as if they are moving away from catering for tourists and more for the local, Thai population. The people in reception speak almost no English making clarification of even the smallest problem very, very difficult. Prior to arrival I wrote the hotel an email addressed to the email address listed on the web site. They did not reply as it seems they have changed the address just not the one on the web site  Rooms very lived in but clean and OK. Food, OK, fresh, good selection.

Convenient for over-night stay while in transit. Room small but totally adequate for our needs. Needs a room safe, though.

Avoid this hotel. They refused to give us double room which I booked saying they dont have room ready and information was late from Sawadee. They offered a really filthy double room on lower floor which we refused. Had to content with a twin room. Very poor quality room. We booked airport drop a day before and in the morning found they have not informed travel agent to place vehicle adequate for the number of guest. Kept on saying vehicle will come but when nothing turned up for 40 minutes we threatened them that we will charge hotel for missed flight. Then they arranged own Hotel van which should have been done earlier. We were last to reach on flight and could have missed. Breakfast is avaoidable. Look for other options if you have to stay in Surat Thani.

Great hotel with fab swimming pool. Location not far from town or the airport. Perfect for overnight stay to to relax and unwind

we stayed in a twin-beds room for one night to catch the early plane next morning. The room is beyond our expectation at this price. It would be even better if the bed could be larger.

Très bon hôtel, service super...pour les taxis et autres déplacements c est pas la joie à Surat.....
